Our 2nd of two engaged sessions we did up in Northern California took us up further north from the bay area to the city of Davis.  There we met up with Amber and Juan on the campus of UC Davis.  “Juamber” (can’t help myself) wanted to do their engaged shots at UC Davis because that’s where they both went to school together.  UC Davis was a special time in their relationship and they really loved the look and feel of the UC Davis campus and we couldn’t agree more!  There was so much to play with, from the architecture to the art pieces to the natural settings.  To top it off, the sun light was yummy and ”Juamber” were down for everything we threw at them.  We would like to thank Amber’s sister Kristy for being our assistant and 3rd shooter ;) that evening as well as that guy that let us borrow his bike for a few shots.  We love these two and look forward to shooting their wedding next year!  Enjoy the pics!

A few weeks ago, we traveled up north to the bay area for a mini-vaca-slash-business-trip.  The business part of it was not so “businessy”; we had to take pictures of awesome engaged couples, which is a whole lotta play and hardly any business whatsoever.  Our first of two engaged sessions up north was with Alma and Jason, our new BFF’s!  Towards the end of last year, we sat down and broke bread with “Almason” (sorry, I’ve been on a name meshing  run as of late) to discuss their wedding plans.  You can say that’s where “Anapaulalmason” (there I go again) was born.  We hit it off that night and since then we’ve been just clicking.  As for their engaged session, we like to shoot our clients in their element, so we made the 400 mile trip up to the bay area and into “town” for their E-session.  We had a good time hanging out with Alma and Jason, taking their pics, and having them give us a mini tour of Oakland.  They also took us out for some oh-so-yummy BBQ at Everett and Jones, a must if you’re in the Oakland area!  Enjoy the pics!  … and enjoy the dynamic hip hop sounds of Propaganda (aka Jason)!  He rocked it last night at the Humidor Boutique in Upland!  He’s in town for the rest of the week, so check him out!

We met the dynamite duo of Diana and Derrick a few months ago at Urth Caffe in downtown L.A..  They gave us a blueprint of their wedding plans that afternoon and we’ve since been telling all our friends all about it!  We’re totally lookin’ foward to shooting their wedding and going bar hoppin’ with them afterwards!  These two bleed Long Beach, so it was only fit to shoot their e-session at the Queen Mary.  Diana and Derrick, thank you for all the laughs we had during your e-session, thank you for the amazing tour of the Queen, and thank you for letting us be a part of this special time of your lives!  Enjoy the pics!
