Everyone, meet Aimee and Jeff.   We were introduced to this awesome couple by our Foto-Fun-Booth veteran friend Allyson, Aimee’s sister-slash-maid of honor.  About a couple of months prior to the wedding, we sat down with Jeff and Aimee over some pizza and and got to know them and their plans for their wedding.  Once we heard they were going to have a heavy metal inspired wedding and that they wanted our Foto-Fun-Booth, we knew they wanted to have fun on their big day, so we were definitely amped to shoot it.   A few weeks ago, we shot their wedding and it rocked!  The ceremony was held at the Lakewood Village Community Church and the reception was held at the Lakewood Country Club.   We definitely love Aimee and Jeff, our new anapaul client friends.  We are grateful we were a part of their rockin’ wedding and had a chance to add our anapaul riff to it.  Enjoy the pics and the slideshow!     (Stop by later, wedding Foto-Fun-Booth blog post to follow…)

Meet John and 1 year old James.  John wanted some pictures to show their special bond and personalities.  That wasn’t hard to do, their bond shines and their personalities overflow.  We just threw our Anapaul spin on it and mixed in the surroundings.  We love architecture and the challenge of blending it with one’s personality.  So we were ecstatic when John picked Downtown LA as the backdrop for their family session.  Loads of areas to explore and play with, and the LA scene complimented them well.  When choosing a location for your photo session, choose a place that represents you.  Choose a place that means something to you.  Ask yourself, “does the common beach and park shots say ME?”  You’re unique, your location should be as well.  Enjoy the pics!  …and the slideshow!

A few weeks ago, we had the privilege to photograph John and Erica’s wedding.  If you’ve been blog stalking us (we heart blog stalkers), you might remember them, we shot their engaged session last month.  A quick rundown…  A few months ago, they were referred to us by another photographer friend.  They liked our anapaul style, so we sat down with them over some tacos at Chipotle.  We clicked: they liked us and we loved them.  Then, they gave us the utmost honor of choosing us in shooting and sharing in their special day.  Since then, we’ve been eagerly awaiting for this day to come.  Their intimate wedding ceremony and rockin’ reception were both held at the Doubletree Hotel in Claremont.  Holly Chavez and her staff from HMC Event Solutions owned this wedding, they did a seamless job running the show and were awesome people to work with.  Check out the cool cake toppers!  They were made by the talented Brooke Anderson.  We love our Anapaul clients, but we especially love these two.  John and Erica not only sent us an actual invitation to their wedding, but they also provided us with our own assigned seats at the reception, AND they made us put our cameras down so we can party the rest of the night with them!  By the way, we even spent this past Saturday night at their home watching UFC, eating Erica’s impressive nacho bar, and watching  John tearin’ it up on DJ Hero.  Thank you again John and Erica for choosing us and letting us be a part of your epic lives.
