This past week we were invited to serve up a dish of our famous Foto Fun Booth!  The occasion? Jesus’ 30th birthday / halloween party.  Jesus (aka Joker) and his wife Jennifer (aka Bat Girl) along with their guests (Slash, Luigi, the Cat in the Hat, etc) could not get enough of our delicious booth.  It was so good, we (aka the photographers) had to jump in and get a taste of our own!  Enjoy the pics!                    (If you were at this party and want to see your pic… click here!)

Have we said how much we LOVE our anapaul “clients”?  We put the word clients in quotations because its a bit odd for us to call them clients since our “clients” always end up being our good friends!  That’s why you will often hear us refer to our clients as  our client-friends.  John and Erica are definitely a perfect example of this.  We met Erica and John a couple of months ago and we hit it off with them right away.  We spent that evening putting business aside and just laughing are heads off.  Since then we’ve been keeping in contact and last week we finally had the chance to shoot their engagement session.  We had such a great time during the session that we decided to go out and hang out afterwards.  After our sessions, its a great feeling when we’re discussing with our “clients” about when’s the next time we’re going to hang out instead of discussing when’s the next time we’ll be taking pics of them.  It’s also a greater feeling when we receive an invitation from our ”clients”  for their wedding that we’re going to be shooting (which Erica and John did).  It makes us feel really special that they look at us as not just another one of their wedding vendors, but something more.  We can’t wait for their wedding!  Thier wedding is around the corner so stay tuned for the pics.  Until then, enjoy their engagement shots!  And the slideshow at the end!

We have a new addition to our anapaul family! Well, not our own immediate family, but come on, our clients are like family to us!  We are not only there to capture their biggest moments, but we do share in those moments as well and become closer with them in the process.  Meet Nicholas Patrick.  When we shot him last week, he was 5 weeks old.  He is now 6 weeks.  We’ve been eagerly awaiting his arrival since we shot his parents, Jessica and Mike.  You might remember them, we shot their Preg-Oh! Session back in July.  Jessica and Mike booked our 1 year package, where we shoot Nicholas Patrick throughout his first year, so you’ll be seeing little Nicholas grow on our photo blog!  We are so happy for the Hurst family and can’t wait to see them in a few months!  Love you guys!  Enjoy the pics!  …And the slideshow at the end!

A few weeks ago I shot Jason and Anh’s wedding with, at the time, a very prego Candice.   Jason and Anh are two very beautiful, genuine, fun individuals and their wedding reflected them perfectly.  We shot their wedding and reception at the La Venta Inn in Palos Verdes Estates, which provided for an awesome backdrop.  Enjoy the pics!

Last week we were up early on a cold Sunday morning to shoot some shots of Devon.   Devon’s uncle Edward wanted a different look for his nephew’s football pics.  Devon’s uncle was not excited about the traditional shots he’s used to seeing when it comes to youth sports.  So he called us up to do our thang and put our Anapaul spin on his nephew’s football pics.  Devon plays pop warner football for the Rancho Cucamonga Jaguars.  He plays both offensive guard and defensive tackle.  Devon’s  just a natural, we had to stop and remember that he is only 9 years old.  Can you believe that?  His facial expressions are amazing.   He really has the eye of the tiger, or in this case, the eye of the Jaguar.  And to top it off, he’s just a really handsome kid!   By the way, his team won that morning 18-0.  Go RC Jaguars!
